Namibian Schools

There are lots of boarding schools in Africa, which At first I didn't understand.  There are only 17 towns/cities in all of Namibia. More often than not there are hundreds if miles between towns.

In between the towns are many huge  ranches/farms hundreds of kilometers away from a town and therefore a school. These Farmers either send their children to boarding schools which you see in the bigger cities  around Namibia or they have Bush school over the radio. Students tune into a particular station on the radio for their lessons. They  ask/ answer question via a CB radio. If you live near a town or city you would walk to school.
